Cooldown Services
Liquid Helium ISO containers are primarily consisting of two inner tanks contained within the outer vessel, the LHe inner tank and a LIN reservoir to minimize heat leak and maintain the temperature of the LHe inner tank.
Liquid Helium ISO containers inner helium tank requires to be at lower than 80K (-193.15⁰C) to qualify for direct filling at Helium sources. Otherwise, the container is considered as warm and would require a prior Cool down.
Gulf Helium services offers the Cooldown service for both brand new and operational containers to GHS customers with hot containers above the required threshold arriving at Qatar for filling. GHS experience and expertise contribute to efficient and effective handling of these specialized containers providing efficient and time-saving services, which helps reduce the containers' downtime and the waiting queues for filling.
The Cool Down service provided by Gulf Helium Services (GHS) involves more than just reducing the temperature of the Liquid Helium (LHe) ISO containers. It encompasses a range of related processes to ensure that the containers are properly prepared for filling, such as residual analysis, purging / vacuuming requirements and temperature monitoring.
This is crucial for customers who want to minimize delays in their operations and ensure a smooth helium supply chain.
